I’m a big animal person :-)
FYI-I will be moving out of state in April so I won’t be accepting any new clients after mid-February. I love animals of all kinds. I don’t mind caring for your smallest fish to your biggest dog. Currently I have dogs, cats, fish and a hedgehog. Haven’t yet met an animal I didn’t like. I’ve been raised around animals all my life and I probably like them more than some people, lol. I worked for the Las Vegas Municipal Court for 30 years and recently retired. My younger brother is an NHP Sgt, my older brother is a local realtor, my father is a retired Battalion Chief for the LVFR and my mom retired from CCSD. I was born and raised in LV. I’m a trustworthy person, married with no children. Playing with your dog(s) or other animals, to me, isn’t work-it’s fun! My husband, Kevin, often joins me when I’m on a home visit. He loves to meet the dogs (or cats, or whatever) and enjoys playing with them and joining me on walks when he has the time. When I’m watching your pets in your home I follow your routine as closely as possible. I can do drop by visits multiple times a day, I can spend the entire day with your pets (just need to go home to check on my own throughout the day) or I can house-sit and spend the night. Whatever works best for you and your furkids. Our corgi was recently diagnosed with diabetes, so if you have a diabetic pup I know how to check BG levels and give insulin injections. We have no problem watching your small pets as well. Like I previously mentioned I’m a current pet parent of a very grumpy hedgehog. In the past I’ve had Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, gerbils, birds and snakes. I really do like all animals. Karen is amazing! What would we do without her. Our senior Chihuahua became sick while we were out of town. Karen caught her symptoms and communicated with us so quickly. Karen brought our senior lady to our vet and administered medications. We’re so grateful Abby is feeling better thanks to Karen’s watchful eye!!
Karen was absolutely amazing. She not only is so sweet and compassionate she gave us great updates and photos that made us feel so happy. I love Karen, she took such great care of our fur babies while we were gone.

I’m retired and a stay at home pet parent 😁. If I’m pet-sitting for you I do ask that you understand I need to go home twice a day to feed and care for my own animals (it makes it easier on my husband who is still working)
