Hi, my name is Karen and I'm 69 years old. First of all, I CANNOT KEEP PETS OVER 20 POUNDS. I have had a dog most of my life and have babysat dogs for my family and friends along the way. Our home is comfortable and is well heated and cooled. Dogs are free to roam inside and can lay down almost anywhere they want to rest. I have a double-car garage and a very large and roomy fenced-in back yard. I have room for pet crates/beds and don't mind if you bring one. Please bring enough dog food for their stay, and a toy/blanket that your pet likes (to help calm them). The backyard has a stockade fence on 2 sides & 4 ft chain-length fence. The 2 gates are blocked. I have a concrete patio in my backyard and a side walkway into my garage. I can walk your dog in the back yard or they can play on their own. I stay outside with them. I will text and send you pictures of your dog while you are gone so you can see how your pet is doing. I want your dog to have a relaxing, stress-free experience while you are away and I want you to have comfort in knowing that your pet will be lovingly taken care of.

My mother was admitted into a nursing home for a short term stay and Karen helped me out in an urgent situation. She claimed to enjoy her time with Annie our dog and wanted her to come back again. I’m keeping her number in case the need ever arises again. I appreciate how quickly she responded to our needs

I only keep dogs in my home and I do love having meet-n-greets so clients can see where their pet(s) are staying and meet me. We should all feel comfortable with one another.

A typical day
I do not walk dogs in my neighborhood. I've been attacked by other dogs before, so I only walk in my backyard. I have a few toys they can play with. Feel free to bring your pet's toys but please put your pet's name on it.

- Your dogs food amount per day, if your dog is potty-trained and does he/she let you know when they need to go out. Any allergies your dog may have and any medications they are taking. Be sure and write down the information I'll need to distribute it. I only keep small dogs and I have kept many different breeds - I have no preference of breed.
