Your pets remain relaxed in the comfort of their own home while enjoying the care of one consistent, reliable caregiver. Yes, I come with an Australian accent at no extra charge—your pets may not understand me, but they’ll probably feel like they’re on an episode of Bluey! 🐾 Every household is different, so I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your pets enjoy quiet companionship, regular walks, sun-time, playtime, medication support, or simply having someone nearby while you’re away, for whatever reason, I’ll tailor my care to help them and you feel secure and settled. Ideal for: • Dogs and cats who thrive in their own home • Pets who appreciate and seek regular human companionship • Multi-pet households • Owners travelling for business, medical care or holidays • Families who value one trusted caregiver caring for both their pets and their home. I intentionally accept a limited number of house-sitting bookings and generally care for one household at a time, allowing me to focus on maintaining your pet’s routine and providing attentive, personalised care. During your booking, your home can be my primary base. I like to bring my book, my laptop for my virtual work, and letters or postcards to write to penpals or family back in Australia. While I may occasionally step out for appointments or errands, I aim to keep time away to a minimum and maintain your pet’s normal sleep, play, meal, nap routine as closely as possible. My overnight stays, morning and evening care, and extended daytime presence provide reassurance for both pets and owners. While you’re away, I’m also happy to assist with a few household tasks by prior arrangement, including: • Bringing bins in and out • Collecting mail and parcel deliveries • Watering indoor and outdoor plants • General home security checks/lights on or off to keep the home appearing occupied and reporting any concerns. I can cope with winter weather requirements and manage if some unexpected occurs such as a storm event, branch down in yard, wind damage. Clients describe me as calm, trustworthy, attentive, respectful, organized, and the sort of person who genuinely cares for a home as though it were my own. My goal is simple: for you to return home to happy, relaxed pets, looking forward to seeing you, a tidy and well-cared-for home, and the confidence that everything has been looked after while you were away.
