I maintain a limited number of spots to ensure each dog receives attentive, high-quality care. If you travel I have experience keeping dogs for long periods. I also provide daycare with extended hours if needed. The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them. We just moved to SA and had used Rover before. It was hard for us to say goodbye to our previous dog sitter but I must say we hit the jackpot! Karen was AMAZING with our fur baby! She provided updates throughout the days we were gone with pictures and videos. Our fur baby was so happy and comfortable with her. She only watches small dogs which is great since our dog gets anxious around big dogs. She’s also a quick drive to drop off near the airport. We will continue booking with Karen and are so grateful for everything she did while my husband and I were gone.
We have had such a wonderful experience with Karen! She takes great care of Coco, is always great about communicating, and is incredibly accommodating if I’m running a little early or late. We recently moved about 30 minutes away, and I still make the drive to bring Coco to Karen, that’s how comfortable and confident I feel leaving her in Karen’s care. She has been wonderful, and I highly recommend her!
Karen is the absolute best! She is so caring and communicative when she watches our girls and we love the pictures and updates we get 😊 She is very detail oriented and you can really tell she wants to give the best care possible!
Karen is the dog sitter we had been hoping to find since we moved to San Antonio. Our dog Bungee is older, still full of personality, and needs real care. He has allergies, takes several medications, and has always been used to having human company. Every kennel we tried sent him home sick, so we don’t hand him to just anyone. Karen handled all of it without a second thought. We found her through a friend who uses her for their own dog and recommended her highly. From the first meeting she went over every detail with us, and it was clear she wanted to get everything right. Bungee stayed with her for two full weeks while we were abroad, and she sent photos and videos every single day. He had a fabulous time. She was methodical about his routine, walking him twice a day and making sure the other dogs in her care were a good match for his temperament. She stayed on top of his medications and his special diet, and when he ran out of the specific yogurt he eats with his food, she went out and bought more on her own. She kept us in the loop the entire time and made sure he was fed, comfortable, and happy. Karen genuinely loves dogs and treats them like her own. We trust her completely and will absolutely book her again. If you have a dog who needs extra attention, she is the one. Five stars without hesitation.

Schedule
I’m retired and usually available most days. I can work with most schedules and potty breaks are not a problem. I prefer advanced notice but can work with last minute as well.

I have a fenced yard. I also have several gates in my house to make sure they are safe from going upstairs or out the front door when anyone comes in. I provide whatever schedule your dog(s) needs. The more I know about your dog the better I can care for him/her. Meet and greets are great but if not available we can communicate on Rover so I will know what to expect as far as eating, sleeping, any health concerns, your fur babies likes and dislikes, activities your dog enjoys, how your pet interacts with other dogs and people on walks, etc.
A typical day
I can provide walks twice a day or as needed, lap time, petting, play time with balls or other toys you bring or that I have. l will give lots of love and attention as needed to make your pet feel safe, secure, happy, and comfortable. I play relaxing music during their quiet time or whatever music they like if your fur baby enjoys music.
