I am currently taking online classes, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days. I do appreciate at least one day’s notice whenever possible so I can plan my schedule, but I’m also happy to accommodate same-day requests when I’m available. I’ll always do my best to make time for you and your pets!

If I’m caring for your dog or cat in your home, I’ll make sure to ask all the important questions beforehand so I can stick to their normal routine. Whether your pet is crate-trained or not, I’m comfortable with both. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and I will always ensure they’re safe, comfortable, and settled before I leave your home. My goal is to make your pet feel as happy and relaxed as possible while you’re away.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog or cat has any special needs, triggers, or dislikes. For example, if your dog is reactive to bikes, scooters, squirrels, other dogs, or anything else, I’d love to know so I can be prepared and avoid those situations to keep them comfortable and safe. I’d also appreciate knowing if your pet has any special routines, feeding instructions, medications, or favorite activities. I’m more than happy to accommodate their individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation! Whether it’s playing fetch, tug-of-war, or their favorite game, I’ll keep them active and engaged. During walks, I love letting dogs safely stop and sniff, explore new routes, and experience different surroundings. I will try to make sure they get plenty of exercise, have fun, and come home happy and tired!

I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, and I’m definitely a dog lover! It all started with my family dog, Whiskey, a 10-pound Chihuahua. I spent years walking him, feeding him, playing with him, and giving him lots of love. He taught me so much about caring for dogs and understanding their different personalities. I also have a dog of my own, a 100-pound Doberman named Ozzy, who I love like my son. Because he’s a large, reactive dog, I’ve learned how to recognize his body language, manage walks safely, and make sure both he and the dogs around him feel comfortable. That experience has given me confidence handling dogs with different temperaments, from calm and easygoing to more reactive. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’m the go to dog sitter for my friends. I’ve looked after Chihuahuas, a Goldendoodle, a pit bull and a German Shepherd because they know how much I love dogs and trust me to care for them like they’re my own. No matter your dog’s size, age, or personality, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, well cared for, and given plenty of love and attention. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and would love the opportunity to care for yours!

Karen watched my golden doodle Theo for 2 weeks while I was out of town. She was very attentive and caring when taking care of him. She walked him 2-4 times a day as he is a very active boy. She updated me daily with pictures and updates. I never had a worry about Theo while Karen was taking care of him. He was sad when she had to go which just speaks to how good of a dog sitter she was.
Karen has been amazing! She has looked after my dog, Daisy, on many occasions, whether it’s for walks or boarding, and I trust her completely. Daisy absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time she sees her, which gives me so much confidence that she’s in the best hands. She’s one of the very few people I’d happily leave Daisy with. She’s reliable, attentive, and treats Daisy like one of her own. If you’re looking for someone who will truly care for your pet, I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
