Information Karen R. would like to know about your pet

It’s important to know the following about your pets ahead of time: • Temperament and behavior around other dogs, kids, and new environments. • Any specific health issues, allergies, or dietary restrictions. • Their daily routine, including feeding and exercise schedules. • Any special needs or medications they require. • Preferred activities and comfort items, like toys or blankets. • Any known fears or triggers, such as loud noises or certain situations. Having this information helps me provide the best care and ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable during their stay.

A typical day

We start with slow mornings and couch snuggles, followed by a morning bone, breakfast, and potty breaks. Then, we enjoy a leashed walk around the neighborhood or down to the river. Depending on your dog’s compatibility, we may visit Avalon Dog Park or Furdale in the afternoon. If not, another leashed walk is provided. Evenings are spent with backyard hangouts, family fun, cozy cuddles, and goodnights.

Pet care experience

Experienced Pet Sitter with a Passion for Animals Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover with a rich history of caring for various animals. Growing up with a cat, budgie, hamster, two bunnies (and their babies), and two standard poodles, I’ve always been surrounded by furry and feathered friends. Inspired by my parents’ successful in-home pet sitting service, I decided to follow in their footsteps. My journey includes being a guardian home for a doodle breeder in Ontario, where I gained valuable experience and confidence in dog care. Currently, we have a 3-year-old standard poodle who is energetic, friendly, and eager to make new friends. Our home is busy and loving, ready to welcome your pet and make them feel safe and comfortable. What I Offer: • Two leashed walks per day • Lots of love and snuggles • Quiet space for pets needing downtime (I work from home in a basement office) • Fenced yard for fresh air and playtime • Crates available if desired While my primary experience is with poodles and doodles, I’m open to all breeds, provided they’re good with other dogs, kids, and our caged gecko. We will treat your pet as our own, ensuring they receive plenty of love and attention. Looking forward to connecting and providing a safe, comfortable option for your pet so you can travel worry-free.

Karen always does an excellent job taking care of our 2 year old doodle! She provides many updates every day with lots of photos, and always gives me updates when she has her medications. It’s so appreciated having someone so reliable and caring to take care of our dog while we’re out of town!
