Kind and Compassionate Dog Sitter
I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs and will provide the love and care they need in their new "home away from home". I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I am a very active individual and typically walk at least 3-5 miles per day with my little toy fox terrier. I am a nature lover and frequent the area's hiking trails and love to get out on the beach. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I am a retired school teacher and am available year round. I am basically home all the time when I am not out on the nature trails. I would prefer sitting for dogs that weigh 30 pounds or less. Your fur baby will receive the love and attention it deserves from Caring Karen.

I had the pleasure of having my friend stay at my home to watch my pets, Wolfgang and Molly, and she was absolutely wonderful with them. From the moment she arrived, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Both pets took to her right away, and it was clear they felt comfortable and safe in her presence. I’ve also spent time at her home and have seen firsthand how lovingly she cares for her own dog, Benji. She takes him on regular walks, gives him plenty of affection, and treats him like a true member of the family. That same level of love and responsibility carried over when she cared for Wolfgang and Molly. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. My pets adore her, and I always feel at ease knowing they’re in such good hands.
I have known Karen since our college years when we were studying to be teachers. With the patience of a saint, she went on to teach special education students and raise many pets in a loving home. Now retired, Karen is continuing to share her compassion by caring for the pets of others. She is very responsible, reliable, and takes the utmost care when dealing with animals and their needs. Karen is a loving, responsible dog owner, who socializes well with other's animals. Karen is timely, and owns a substantial, fenced property, centrally located on the north end of Horry County. Karen's flexibility allows her to stay at your house, as well as host and board your dogs. To know Karen is to love her! I will highyly recommend her.

And have personaly observed her interactions with dogs .She is very kind and caring toward the dogs in her charge, but at the same time firm when she needs to be.Karen is very intuitive with regard to dog behavior and understands their needs.You will not be disappointed with your decision to have Karen as pet's caregiver when you are away,as she will treat your bat like her own .I have trusted my dogs into her care and highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am a retired school teacher and when I am not out on the nature trails walking dogs, I am at home cooking or gardening. Your dog will receive lots of love and attention from Caring Karen.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in side yard and a gated back deck. My house is set back on a wooded lot with lots of shade. I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood on a private road that is a dead-end. I know most of my neighbors and this is my forever home.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take my dogs on the lovely nature trails this area has to offer. We also like to play ball in my fenced-in side yard. Nap time in the sun on my gated back deck after a hard morning of playing and walking is always a welcome treat.
