Dog lover, works from home, no kids
Hello fellow dog lover! I work from home with flexible hours, solo household, no children. I love love love dogs and think they’re special little gifts! Yours will have the most wonderful single-pet staycation, be safe, sweetly cared for, played with, and walked. I love walks, rain or shine, but if your pup is not a fan or is a senior, we can Netflix & chill instead ;). I typically board one family’s pets at a time so they get my full attention and it’s more like home. I previously fostered over 30 dogs large & small for a SoCal rescue (not all at once ;). Many needed special or medical care. Currently no dogs of my own, but I did raise the sweetest girl for 16 years who was on the news for being the oldest of her breed. She was a soulful character. I look forward to meeting yours!

Karen was amazing with our dog! We don’t leave her with sitters often, but right away she felt comfortable and at home with Karen. We received lots of pictures and updates and felt at ease throughout our trip.
Karen was wonderful with our anxious little guy! Our dog is nervous around strangers, doesn't know many commands, and it was the longest time apart but Karen was so patient with him. She sent detailed updates daily that included photos and walked him daily. By night 6 our guy was snuggling up to her which is a huge deal! Knowing our boy was being cared for by Karen allowed us to fully relax during our vacation.
Karen is a fantastic sitter. I would definitely ask her to watch Bruno again for future trips and recommend her to friends and family. She was very responsive and sent lots of photos. Bruno came back in a good, comfortable mood. Very happy I chose Karen!

Schedule
Available 7 days a week and most holidays. Same-day walking requests are also welcome. I work from home with flexible hours, and can keep your fur friends comfy, healthy and happy! I’ll be sure to send you daily updates with adorable photos :).

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a safe gated townhome, lots of grassy and shaded sidewalk areas within, as well as hiking trails adjacent! My home and personality are chill. But I love outdoor adventure, and hiking if your dog is up for that too. Your pet is welcome on my couch for extra snuggles but I adhere to the same house rules you’ve trained them to follow. I provide feeding & water bowls. Please bring their harness, leash, and usual food so we keep their tummy happy. Anything else you think will make their stay better is welcome.
A typical day
Walking, playing, petting, and feeding! And lots of snuggles of course! There are shaded sidewalks and grassy areas throughout my large gated townhome community. Potty breaks & walks as often as needed. Snuggles on the couch if your doggos permitted (I keep the same rules you apply at home). There is also direct access to trails and a mini park right outside my gate, with very few people or other dogs. The tree-lined walking trail runs along the back of townhomes & business complexes, so no streets. It’s a quiet, safe area. Pets are always kept on a leash when outside with me.
