I’m available for anything from an evening stay to several weeks and specialize in caring for pets who experience separation anxiety when their person is away. I offer kindness, compassion, and plenty of outdoor exercise for dogs who enjoy staying active.

Karen did a fantastic job caring for our sweet labradoodle while we were away for a week. Since we had a pre-dawn departure, Karen arrived the night before, so we were lucky enough to have that time to chat and hang out a bit before we left on our trip. She was wonderful about sending updates/videos daily. They had great play sessions, walks, etc., and she even stayed up soothing him during an evening thunderstorm (which completely undoes him). We were totally at ease on our vacation seeing how happy our dog was, and we came home to an immaculate house too. We highly recommend Karen and look forward to having her housesit for us again someday.
Karen is everything you want when leaving an anxious weimaraner alone with a pet sitter for the first time. She’s communicative, sending updates by text and video to keep the anxious pet parents at ease. She’s compassionate, understanding Poppy’s need to speak out loud and sleep really close. She’s calming for all of us. We are confident we have found the perfect dog sitter.
Karen was an incredible dogsitter and we feel luck to have found her! She was communicative, great with our high-energy dog and took good care of our home. We look forward to Karen dogsitting in the future and highly recommend her!
Karen was great!!! I was nervous to leave my high-energy dog with a sitter for the first time, but she really set my mind at ease. There was excellent communication and a lot of updates. She even took my dog for outings at the beach (her happy place). I could tell that my dog felt comfortable in her care and had a great time, so I was able to relax and enjoy my trip. Will for sure book with Karen again and I absolutely recommend!
