I have had cats and dogs for most of my life (none at the moment) and I also have experience working in pet daycare, boarding/kennel. My favorites tend to be the older animals. Please ask me about sliding scale rates if needed, or special circumstances.

Priority is to take the best care of your furry family members, to keep them calm and happy while you are away. I am honest and trustworthy and expect the same from the pet owner, as well as a clean living space. I’ll follow all guidelines I am given in regards to your pets’ care and use of your home. I have operated an Airbnb in the past, so I understand etiquettes of cleanliness and manners while in others’ homes and expect the same from the pet owner. No cigarette smoking homes please.

Karen lived at my home for a week caring for my kitties. One of my kitties has several heart conditions and I REALLY appreciated that Karen was able to get her all her meds. That is no small thing! Karen's communication was excellent from the first contact all the way through the end of the visit. She problem solved when I dropped the ball on clarifying my wifi info and was a wonderful comfort for my cats. Karen really went above and beyond when she discovered mice had gotten into my cat food. Her problem solving, quick response and clean up helped keep my cats safe. I SO appreciated that. I will definitely be contacting Karen again. Call her- she's great!

Karen is consistently wonderful. She sends us pictures and updates each day and she genuinely cares about our dog. It’s such relief traveling and knowing he is in such good hands.

Schedule
I can accommodate any schedule that your pet needs if I am staying in your home. I do understand the importance of routine, so if you could let me know meal times and other activities that the pet is accustomed to, it really helps. I prefer not to do any off leash time with new animals or dog parks until I know the dog. Also, I usually don't take sits with more than one dog that needs walked.

- Please communicate any special needs of your pet ie:diet, medications, particular triggers or fears… What routine does your animal follow each day? What words are they trained to respond to? How safe is your neighborhood for walking if that is a requirement. Please do write out your pets routine and care instructions and leave it for me or make a Rover care guide. Also, I will need to know in advance if people will be coming and going on your property while I am there and who they are for my safety and well being.
