I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have been petsitting since 2017. A lot of my sits have been with another organization and I would be glad to provide you the link to my reviews. I also have experience working in pet boarding/kennel. I especially love to give special attention to those pets who aren’t as outgoing or have anxiety when their parents leave. Please ask me about sliding scale rates if needed. I like to help when I can. I work in a school and have summers off allowing me to stay with pets.

Priority is to take the best care of your furry family members, to keep them calm and happy while you are away. I am honest and trustworthy and expect the same from the pet owner, as well as a clean living space. I’ll follow all guidelines I am given in regards to your pets’ care and use of your home. I have operated an Airbnb in the past, so I understand etiquettes of cleanliness and manners while in others’ homes and expect the same from the pet owner. Non tobacco smoking homes only please. I prefer to stay in homes that use natural products.

Karen lived at my home for a week caring for my kitties. One of my kitties has several heart conditions and I REALLY appreciated that Karen was able to get her all her meds. That is no small thing! Karen's communication was excellent from the first contact all the way through the end of the visit. She problem solved when I dropped the ball on clarifying my wifi info and was a wonderful comfort for my cats. Karen really went above and beyond when she discovered mice had gotten into my cat food. Her problem solving, quick response and clean up helped keep my cats safe. I SO appreciated that. I will definitely be contacting Karen again. Call her- she's great!

Karen was awesome, communicative and appropriate. She kept me up to date with pics, asked valid questions and showed genuine concern for my dogs and my home. Highly recommended!!!
Karen is consistently wonderful. She sends us pictures and updates each day and she genuinely cares about our dog. It’s such relief traveling and knowing he is in such good hands.

Schedule
I can accommodate any schedule that your pet needs if I am staying in your home. I do understand the importance of routine in your pet’s life, if you could let me know meal times and other activities that the pet is accustomed to, it really helps. I prefer not to do any off leash time woth new animals or dog parks. I also prefer one dog and older dogs who do not need running unless they have a fenced yard or farm type area.
