Kare'n for your animals
As an animal lover and caretaker over the past 40 years, I have experience raising dogs through all ages of life from puppies to seniors & deaf dogs, as well as cats, and farm animals. This love for animals began even before I was a high school 4-H and FFA student working with large farm animals, growing up with cats and dogs. As a pet-sitter for others, I have cared for many kinds of animals in addition to cats and dogs. I was the Dog Leader for the Murphys 4-H for 7 years and assisted the kids in training their dogs to show at the fair. While I have experience training animals, I also love to offer them tender loving care, spending quality time with them, and being their friend. It is important to me that dogs and humans both enjoy play and joy in their days, so I am happy to offer this for your pets when you cannot be there.

When caring for pets as a sitter, I respect both your space and your pets. While I am walking others' dogs, I feel best with on-leash walks, and I will clean up after them. I also always provide animals with fresh clean water during my visits and routine caretaking. I like to keep the home and pets clean, safe, and comfortable while you are away.

We had a wonderful experience using Karen as a dog sitter. We met her a couple of times before our booking and it was clear that she had a lot of experience with animals and dogs, which gave us peace of mind for leaving our special needs dog behind to go on a trip. Karen followed our care instructions meticulously and treated our dog with the utmost care, love, and respect. She provided daily updates and photos as well as a log of activities. We came home to a relaxed and happy dog. Karen is professional, responsible, caring, and thoughtful and I will not hesitate to use her again the future. My dog already misses spending time with her!

Karen was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Dogen! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs, and that gave us immediate peace of mind. We really appreciated the updates and photos while we were away—Dogen looked happy and well cared for the whole time. When we got back, he was relaxed and clearly had a great experience. It’s not easy to leave your pet with someone else, but Karen made the entire experience stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive sitter!
Karen was Astounding with the love & care she provided for our 12+ yr. old fur baby. If you love your fur babies I recommend Karen beyond highly!!!! She is the best!
Karen was fantastic. Our dog was shy of a new person and she was incredibly patient with him. We would definitely book her again.
