TRUST - it is so important to feel and to know that your family is in good hands. Your pet is family, and I will do everything to make sure they are safe, having fun, and feel loved. I take a calm, attentive approach to caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. I understand how to recognize the signs of stress in animals and always work to keep them comfortable and happy. I will stick to a schedule that works for your pet. I like to understand their likes and dislikes. If they need a 5 mile walk, then that is what we do. If they prefer a leisurely half-mile stroll, we’ll take it slow. Fetch, belly rubs, or cuddle time— no problem! If they are at my home, I have a completely fenced in yard, with reinforcements so if they're small, they cannot get under the fence. Inside the house, I have the ability to safely separate spaces inside my home with gates if needed. It is truly an honor for me to care for our companion animals.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for. For boarding in my home, I do have a smaller dog who is very sweet but who does not like to engage in playing with other dogs. Because I have a dog, please show me your dog's rabies and vax records! :)
A typical day
I will walk with your dog in the neighborhood and take in all the new smells. If they prefer fetch, belly rubs, or cuddle time—it’s all part of the package. I would like to know what kinds of games and treats he or she likes, and engage them accordingly! Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority.

Reliable, Consistent, Professional, and full of LOVE for all creatures great and small - that's me! Your pooch deserves (and probably demands) the best while you are away, and you deserve peace of mind. I have been in the animal rescue world since I rescued my first dog 15 years ago. He was special needs, and truly special. He spawned my love and desire to care for these precious animals. I have been trained at a local shelter to walk dogs that have been through a lot of stressful situations, and I do so with the utmost care and compassion. I have taken and passed the Fear Free training sessions. We have welcomed dozens of fosters into our home to rehabilitate and get them available for adoption, using positive reinforcements. When you're here, you're family. We have always been a 2-dog household, but now are the home for one small princess. I am eager to give belly rubs, cuddles, walks, food and treats to your precious fur-baby! I might possibly love it more than they do! :)
