I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with animals for many years, from the age of about 6 we always had dogs and cats at home. As an adult I continued to have my furry family. They are a huge part of my life and taught me just how much love, companionship and personality our pets bring to us. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal is different. Some want long walks and adventures, others are happiest with a quiet cuddle, playtime or simply having someone nearby. I’m patient and attentive and will always take the time to understand your pet’s individual personality, routine and needs. Having had elderly dogs and cats with health problems, I’m comfortable giving medicine. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ dogs and have recently started caring for other people’s pets, including a 4-month old puppy which I’m really enjoying. I particularly love getting out walking with dogs and discovering new places, but I’m equally happy spending time at home with a cat who would rather supervise from the sofa! Your pet’s safety and happiness would always be my priority. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep you updated while you’re away and treat your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m doing this because I genuinely love animals and enjoy their company. 🐾❤️

I have an enclosed front and back garden. There are two senior cats at home but as required they are comfortable being separated or confined to specific rooms in the house.

I’ve known Karen for nearly 10 years, and she’s had pets all her life. Most recently, Sammy and Lady Bella were her world, and she gave them both so much love and care throughout their lives. She’s always been a great pet parent, with a kind and caring nature. I’d happily trust her with any pet and know they’d be treated like one of her own.
Karen is a responsible owner of dogs and cats, with a caring nature. She offers a fun and playful environment to nurture their wellbeing alongside practical support with a loving touch. She adores animals and is a great person to have caring for your pet. She has looked after my elderly cat with care and attention and I would trust her to keep him safe and happy in my absence.
I asked Karen to look after my bouncy lurcher puppy for a day and I couldn't have left him in better hands. Karen went above and beyond, she gave him at least 3 walks - so much so he was worn out by time we got home! Karen followed my instructions on his routine and understood his character 'quirks' and was very patient with him. We were also late home due to traffic on the motorway and road closures, Karen was very accommodating by looking after him longer than we agreed. He was clearly very well looked after and Karen treated him like her own. I had a lovely day out not worrying and when I did message or call to check in Karen was very responsive with communication which always put your mind at ease. I wouldn't hesitate to book Karen again and I've got some dates in mind already! Thank you for looking after our boy Sidney.
Karens attention to detail with every aspect of pet care is second to none. Always putting the animals needs first and foremost and being able to identify each animals requirements along with what you as the owner would like. Highly recommended 😇

Schedule
I’m currently working from home (9-5.30 with an hour lunch, there is some flexibility) and would schedule visits around early mornings, lunch and evenings according to needs. Weekends are mostly free and weekday nights for overnights can be accommodated.
