For years, I have taken in strays to care for and helped out friends with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have worked closely with a dog trainer(specifically service dog handling) and love to include tips and tricks with dogs and owners who would want some guidance. I love dogs and include my own Mercury in as many adventures as I can. With a best friend in VetMed, I am no stranger to veterinary care and always have assistance a call away if needed. Mercury is very friendly and experienced with having other dogs over, he sometimes helps me with friends who want some dog training help also. Mercury and I would love to care for your best friend in whatever way we can!

Karen did such a great job with my lovely foster dog Peaches. She came, rain or shine, trained her to walk nicely on a leash and sometimes brought her own dog to help Peaches play nice with others on leash. She's always cheerful and accommodating re schedules, etc. Thank you Karen!

Schedule
Pet care is a daily activity in our home, enrichment too. I am a helicopter parent and would be with any pet in my care. Whatever your pet needs, I am willing to offer, and will of course let you know if it’s not possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment, but live very close to a large fenced field that I take my dog to often to run around, and I will take yours if you're comfortable (I have long leashes for those who may not have great recall). If your pet is crate trained, we have more than enough space to keep a crate in the home. I walk my dog around our complex a few times a day, and also on long walks in the neighborhood. The same or more can be offered to your pet depending on its needs.

A typical day
I am big on physical and mental stimulation. We have lots of puzzle toys and love to come up with new games. Scent games are the best and we practice those on our walks and in the home.
