Pet care experience
Secure home with play and safe country walks
I’ve grown up with dogs from childhood and started off pet/house sitting and dog walking in the late 90’s. I added home boarding about 15 years ago. I’ve looked after both my own and other dogs from puppy stage right the way through their senior years. I have many years experience in administering prescribed oral and topical medication. I have a certificate in canine first-aid and keep up to date with the dog behaviour and training practices. Any dog that stays in our home is treated as one of the family and with the owners consent can come along with our own dog on day trips to the seaside, canal or woodland walks. As experienced border collie owners we pride ourselves in being able to provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation where required.

Karen had Luna for a few days during our family trip. Luna was well taken care of, having daily walks and cuddles. She enjoyed playing with Karen's dog for extra company. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Karen again for an overnight stay.
Lucie had a lovely time with Karen, she looked after her as if she were her own, they had lovely walks and I really appreciated the updates and photos. We have already booked her for the next holiday.
Karen looked after our dog Oreo so well. She is very reliable and knows a lot about caring for dogs. Oreo had some great walks and company and came home happy! I'd definitely recommend her.

Karen looked after our gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback, Zala, over many years when we went on holidays, weekends away or just overnight. Karen is a natural with dogs and her home was Zala’s second home. Zala loved going to Karen’s and I always knew that she would be happy, well looked after, and was often reluctant to leave when we went to collect her!

Schedule
I’m semi-retired and there is always somebody at home to take care of your pets needs. We are all weather walkers so your pet won’t miss out on walkies on rainy days.

Safety, trust & environment
We have fully enclosed front and rear gardens, lots of dog toys and dog beds and crates of various sizes. In addition to having free rein of the house, we have a dedicated dog utility room with underfloor heating for downtime. After long muddy walks we have an outside warm water dog wash facilities.
