WFH. Loving, reliable, experienced.
I love all dogs. Big, little, grumpy or happy! I've looked after dogs with various issues, and I have rescued a few of my own. A few years before I had my daughter, I puppy walked for the Guide Dogs and trained them in their first 10 months. I have also lots of experience with sight hounds having rescued greyhounds in the past. I have a whippet of my own who is happy with other dogs. I love to be surrounded by dogs so I can take two dogs at a time! If your dog barks a lot I will not be able to have it because I have to consider my neighbours. I will not take a larger strong dog which is not trained to walk on the lead either. ( I still want my arms to remain in their sockets)!!

Karen looked after our two young Sprocker Spaniels for doggy day care. They were well looked after, loved, walked, given treats and came home very happy. Karen is very trustworthy and got a friend to help with a walk as they tend to pull quite strongly at times on the lead. She had a very safe and secure garden with great open spaces nearby.
Ellie was extremely well looked after with Karen! When we picked her up, she was happy and a little sleepy - perfect after we'd travelled home and were feeling a little sleepy ourselves! Thank you Karen - I'd happy use your services again and would recommend you to anyone!
Karen was absolutely wonderful with Scooby! He had an amazing time and came back so happy.So good to know he was in safe hands. It’s clear she truly loves dogs—highly recommend! 🐾
Karen was great for our overnight stay with Dobby. Her garden was enclosed and we felt happy leaving our dog who can’t be let off the lead there. Karen was super knowledgable about sighthound breeds which put us at ease.

Schedule
I work full time at home as an artist. I give my own dog two walks a day around the river and fields. My home is dog friendly and secure with lots of cosy spaces for relaxing and a decent sized garden for a little sun bathing.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a very secure garden and home. Floors are tiled or wooden so accidents aren't a problem! Sofas or dog beds are provided too. I do have a medium size crate if required. Unfortunately I cannot take dogs that are prone to barking a lot because of my neighbours. I am happy to send photos and updates.
Pets
A typical day
After breakfast I will take your dog for a walk for around an hour in the lovely and safe areas around where I live. Your dog will also have another afternoon walk. You choose the amount of exercise you want your dog to have. They can have more or less exercise depending on their needs. Your dog will be stimulated, have affection and be cared for. I can look after a dog which doesn't want to be left alone and I am happy for you dog to sleep in my bedroom if need be. Your wish is my command!
