From kittens to our grumpy geriatrics, I got you covered. Every cat is an individual and I take the time to get to know each one and go at their speed. I’ve had cats my whole life and spent years studying veterinary medicine, including 2.5 years working in a veterinary clinic. Cats are my true love in life and I feel a special connection to them. I’ve also owned and taken good care of cats with chronic, advanced medical conditions (including diabetes and kidney disease). My family calls me a cat whisperer. Outside of my affinity to cats, I’m a reliable and honest person. (Cats only services - other small animals and a dog in addition to a cat may be ok, but will go on a case-by-case basis)

I can follow directions, including administering medications (including injections). I will feed according to your cat’s schedule, ensure clean water is available, and can maintain a clean litter box. I’ll happily play with your cat. If your cat wants to cuddle or lap sit, I’ll happily oblige. Whatever your cat’s needs are, I’m here to meet them!

Karen loves cats and is great with them. She also used to be a vet tech so she has a lot of useful skills including giving cats medicines, which is not an easy task. She was great with my elderly cat Ninja who had several health issues and was standoffish around pretty much everyone but his mom. Karen managed to earn his trust. She will love your cat and care about them, takes kitty care very seriously, and understands how hard it can be to trust someone with your fur baby when you leave town! I trust her completely!

Schedule
I work from home (regular 8-4 weekday schedule) so if a visit is within Scott’s Addition, my daytime availability for drop-in visits is more open. In general I’m available after working hours and on weekends. For house sitting, as long as there’s WiFi I can work from there and keep your kitty company.

- Please let me know about any special needs your cat may have so I can be prepared to accommodate them. Also let me know about any of their likes/dislikes. Is there any particular thing they love? Do they hate being picked up? Are there specific no-petting zones? Do they have any odd quirks that could be useful to know? Any fears? Any significant medical history? Anything you can think of, I am happy to hear so I can do the best job possible.
