I work 3 hours a day Tues, wed, and Fri 10 am to 1 pm. I work 11-5 on Sundays. So I really need animals that are potty trained or crate trained for sitting during those days.

Please let me know any dietary or medical needs. Age of pet and their temperament. Size of animal. Sleep routine. Potty training. If they walk well with leash without too much pulling. If they ride well in the car.
A typical day
Play, play, play! Even old pets need some sort of playtime. Fetch, tug-o-war, follow the toy type of games. Most pets enjoy being brushed. If it's not too mind numbingly cold outside we will walk around your neighborhood or yard. Of course, snuggle time! IF your pet enjoys car rides we might go to the dog park or lake to play.

I do have repeat clients not listed on my Rover account. If you'd like to contact them as a reference I'm sure I can do that. I've always owned pets and have often sat for friend's pets. Sick, healthy, young, old, pregnant. Used to volunteer at the local shelter and created a training program. Was a foster-pet caretaker for the shelter. Animals like me and I seem to be very intuitive with them. Have used animals for emotional therapy with children. Studied online a little bit about emotional and massage therapy for animals. No certification though. Self-study online about training both cats and dogs. Not certified. Online study about animal body language and behavior. Not certified. Self-study of natural/herbal medical care for cats/dogs. Not certified. Was a Licensed Social Worker for 20 years working with youth. Animals are wonderful for emotional therapy, great for healing, make us laugh and love too.

Karen is the best house/dog sitter I’ve ever had. Poppy wanted to go with her when she was leaving after a week long stay. :) She was unfortunately put into a uncomfortable situation when my ex-husband showed up. She handled it with grace. I would highly recommend Karen, and I will certainly be reaching out to her again when needed.
Karen was able to come in at the last minute after we had been left in a lurch by the previously setup sitter. She was able to fit us in and make a meet and greet, saving our trip. She did a great job with our cat, who was definitely ready for pets and scritches. Our interaction was all positive and we would definitely recommend her.
