We Love Dogs!
ESTABLISHED CLIENTS ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: Some people don't believe a dog can smile, but I know they can, because I see it every stay! Finding a loving and caring home-away-from-home for your dog in your absence is harder than most people think, right? We know, because we have been in your shoes. Most kennels won't allow you to drop off or pick up your dog after 12 noon Saturday or anytime Sunday or during evening hours. You won't have that problem here. Our schedule is your schedule. We offer a fenced yard, fun playmates, attention, and lots of tender-loving care. My husband and I spent many years not taking vacations or going on long holiday visits because we could not find anyone responsible who would watch our three dogs. One dog, yes, two dogs, maybe, three or more dogs--never! It's still that way today. We have been asked, "Can't you just take them to a kennel?" Sure, and we did at times, but that was not the best decision for our dogs. (And those past experiences are better left untold.) Now that I am home full-time, I'm determined to change things--one dog at a time--for these incredible animals and their exceptional owners. Every dog should have a safe and loving place to go when staying home isn't possible. Frankly, I think they should all be brought to me. Their stay here is such fun, with lots of hugs, attention, talks about important matters, belly rubs, and more! I am an avid reader, so your dog gets daily story time, too.

Karen is the best!! She made our girls feel at home right away and made us feel so comfortable leaving our fur babies with her. I so appreciated her amazing communication and LOTS of photos!
Karen is amazing! The way she introduces her dogs is perfect. I was a little nervous to leave my baby but she sent daily updates with pictures! Your pup will feel right at home with Karen and her family!
Buster's stay with Karen was wonderful. Karen treats Buster like part of her pack. Her home is immaculate and Buster runs with her dogs which he loves. Karen also updates me with pictures of Buster . I couldn't ask for a better person to leave Buster with overnight.
Best dog sitter and boarding experience we have ever had. Dogs were very well cared for and loved. Given a ton of attention and treated like their own. We were updated regularly about the dogs with photos. Will recommend and use again, without a doubt.

Karen and Richard are amazing! I almost didn’t want to leave a review because I want them all to myself! My dogs are super picky about people and they were completely in love with Karen and her family after the first stay. She kept me posted with cute photos and updates. I am a nervous mom especially with new experiences so I really appreciated that. They got along great with her 3 dogs

Schedule
We are often booked six months to a year in advance for many dates, especially holidays, so please book early. If you're planning to book a vacation for yourself, please check my calendar first!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dogs are treated like our own during their stay with us. They'll sleep inside, and when we go outside, they'll be asked to go along with us. We're all one big happy pack.
Pets
A typical day
IT'S A PROMISE: 100% of clients wanting photos of their pets during the stay receive photos! Cancellations, date changes, add-ons affect the reported photo stats on this website. Doggie Daycare is no longer available unless a special request has been pre-approved. If accepted, Daycare hours are 7am to 7pm. Behavior: If a dog needs discipline (chewing, growling, etc) we use a spray bottle containing a mixture of white vinegar and water to spray the animal. If needed, we have several areas to separate dogs until we can re-introduce them in a calm and controlled environment. All dogs sleep inside at night, and they are allowed inside/outside freedom during the day. They are closely supervised 24 hours a day.
