I love animals! Growing up, we always had multiple dogs in the home, and now I love getting to meet and care for so many other people's pets. From taking care of months-old puppies to administering meds to aging dogs and cats, I have experience in all aspects of dog and cat care. *Please review my policies below* Boarding: Your dog will come and stay with my husband, our dog, and me at our home. We have a fenced-in yard and are close to two big parks and multiple hiking trails. We have a medium-sized mutt and there are lots of dogs in my neighborhood, so if your dog is aggressive or scared of other dogs, please let me know ahead of time. I require meet and greets before the booking begins. Doggy Day-Care: Your dog will spend the day at my home with my dog, husband, and me. I work from home but may be gone for up to 2 hours for meetings/errands. We have a fenced-in yard and are close to two big parks and multiple hiking trails. We have a medium-sized mutt and there are lots of dogs in my neighborhood, so if your dog is aggressive or scared of other dogs, please let me know ahead of time. Meet and greets in advance of booking are preferred. • Day-care rate covers up to 8 hours of care. I charge $10/additional hour of care. No prorations. • I offer daycare between 8am-6pm. An additional fee will be added on if you need to begin or end daycare outside of these hours. Pick up/Drop off: Aspen Village to Downtown Carbondale - $40/Round Trip Snowmass Village, Aspen, Glenwood Springs - $60/Round Trip • Available to pick up and drop off between 8am-6pm. Please arrange for your pet to be dropped off/picked up at my home outside of these hours. • Please respect my time and agreed-upon schedules. I charge $10 for every additional half hour of care beyond the agreed-upon schedule. Drop-in Visits/Walks: I will come for a 30-minute drop-in or walk to check on your pet. Meet and greets are preferred so I can meet your pet and learn about your home and routine. House-sitting: I will come to your home and care for your pets. I require meet-and-greets ahead of time so that I can meet your pet and learn the basics of your home. Basic home care (bringing in mail, watering plants) included!

Karen is simply the best at caring for my dog. I trust her completely and my dog Lilly (who is older and a bit anxious) just walks right into their home wagging her tail every time! She has a nice yard and they go on walks in the park next door. Karen is organized and responsible. Lilly loves being there!

This is my full time gig! I try to avoid going up and down valley multiple times a day, but I am flexible to be available for whatever you need!

When your dog comes to me: I have a fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood with parks and walking trails close by. I want your dog to feel safe and to have fun in their new environment. At your home: I will follow any instructions and guidelines you give me.
Pets
A typical day
I will take your dogs on walks around your neighborhood or mine (I am always happy for a chance to explore) and to any nearby parks. I love to play fetch with your dogs or just roll around with them if that's what they love. Any toys or games your dogs love, I love it too!
