I've spent my career working with children with autism & special needs which has taught me to have a calm and assertive demeanor with animals. Frequent walks and/or mellow cuddle time with your pets feeds my soul as I love being in the company of animals. I have had dogs and cats as family members and have frequently cared for the animals of family and friends in their homes. You can trust that I will take excellent care of your pets and your home while you are away.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the needs of your animal and your routine, I will take them for walks (as many as are needed), play in the house or yard, feeding, brushing, cuddle time, etc. I don't mind watering plants, bringing in the mail or taking out the garbage as well.

This is our first time using rover. Karen I is an absolute angel! What a professional through and through. She kept us up to date with daily reports on how our pups were doing and got along with them perfectly. Our pups can be a bit high maintenance but no concern for Karen I. THE BEST! She took great care of our pups and our house too. The complete package ! We can’t wait to book her again! 6 stars if I could give them.
She was all I could have hoped for. Good communicator, good listener, and good follow-through. Showed up on time and left the house spotless.
We were so happy to have found Karen after recently moving to the area. She was a wonderful sitter. We have a very large dog that can be intimidating at first but she was so at ease with him and was very thoughtful and attentive during our time away. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone. You will not find anyone better than Karen! Divot is an adorable and extremely difficult older dog. Karen took on this challenge with no hesitation and gave him a peaceful weekend at home. She is truly amazing, and any pets are in the best hands with Karen!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule both on weekdays and weekends, and can work with your pet's needs. I accept pet sitting jobs of at least 3 nights and preferably 1 - 3 week stays.
