We have a fenced in yard and three dog parks in walking distance (if you want us to avoid dog parks, we also understand). We love taking the pups on walks in the neighborhood which is very dog friendly. Your pup can freely roam in our home and we'll treat them as if they were our own furry child. No crates or pens unless that’s how you’d prefer they sleep at night.

We’ve both taken care of older dogs so we’re happy to provide a safe environment for your senior pup. We’ve also raised many young g pups between us so we know how to deal with puppy energy. We can provide oral meds but not injections. Reach out and let us know what your puppy needs. Out only restrictions are no injections as we aren’t certified for that and if your dog needs lifting or carrying, we are older and a little frail.
A typical day
My neighborhood is very walkable so we go for walks to visit various areas. Lots of sniffs and wags potential. We usually do three walks a day and unlimited outside access. On weekends we like to go to the Redwood Park or other walking trails in Oakland. If your pup likes dog parks, there are three in close proximity. Or if they like to sunbathe, our enclosed yard provides lots of safe sun.

Loving care for old and young pups!
Pet care experience
With an enclosed yard at our house, my retired partner and I provide loving care for all dogs but especially senior pups or pups needing special attention. We both have been lifelong dog owners. Our last senior pup crossed the rainbow bridge after sixteen good years with us. We’re happy to share our love for dogs with you. We love all dogs big and small, young and old. We love pities, chihuahuas, German shepherd dogs, and more. No dog breed discrimination in this household. We have a little folding ramp for the car. There is a flight of steps up to our house. We almost always board just one dog at a time so they can get our undivided attention. You’ll know if there’s another guest ahead of time as we’ll ask you. One of us is almost always home so your puppy won’t have separation anxiety with two Asian grannies looking after them. We’re often booked far into the future and we don’t take that may new clients so we don’t have any openings but it doesn’t help to hurt to ask if you are worried because of time or special needs.

Great care for our doodle Echo. They always have fun adventures together and give him loads of attention. He comes home in a great mood!
Thank you for taking great care of Petey! Going away and leaving our dog behind can be stressful, but we felt very reassured with such experienced caretakers who wanted to spoil our sensitive little pittie. We’d love to book again in the future. :)
