Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner in the past. More recently, I’ve fostered and re-homed over 30 shelter dogs and have dog-sat for family, neighbors and friends. I have cared for many types of dogs from puppyhood to senior dogs and some dogs had special needs. I currently do not have any pets of my own and would enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them the attention they need or just play time or belly rubs. I enjoy walking, playing with and brushing them out to make them feel pampered too. Most dogs I’ve met enjoy cuddling up on the sofa with a blanket and napping as I watch a movie. I’m typically home full time and am very flexible with scheduling as I’ve been a dog owner and I know how life can be busy and unpredictable.

Another great stay with Karen and Ray! We are so grateful to have found such a great fit with our girl. The updates and photos are the best, even on a short trip. We love seeing how happy our dog is with Karen. I always end up replying to her messages with “wow she doesn’t miss us at all, does she?!”
Karen was the BEST! She was great with my dog, took excellent care of him, had a great fenced area for him to play, explore, and also another great area for him to sleep and relax. I highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a sitter

A high level of trust is required to watch our boy, Anakin. We mainly utilize relatives to babysit him, but when they’re not available, we turn to Rover. Rover is a blessing because it gave us an opportunity to meet Karen. She is one of very few ask to watch him, and she treats him like family. We appreciate the pride she takes in caring for him, and all dogs that book with her. A+++ and would recommend to anyone looking for a loving, caring, and respectful sitter. Your pup will always leave her home happy. Thank you Karen, we’re so grateful to have met you and Ray.

A typical day
We can go for walks, play fetch or tug of war with their favorite toys. Or chill out on the couch if they just want to relax and enjoy a belly rub.
