Experienced dog and walking lover
I have had dogs as pets all my life, an old English Sheepdog, a German Pointer, a Welsh Springer, a Border Collie and plenty of cross breeds too. Currently we have a 7 year old rescue Cockachon called Reggie. We have had him from a puppy. He is a super chilled little man, he is well socialised and happy with other dogs. We also have a 5 year old Doberman called Thea, we adopted her last year, having looked after her regularly for a couple of years. She is a big bouncy girl but soft as anything and loves all the new friends she gets to meet when we have guests!

What I loved most was how comfortable Ava was from the meet and greet to when going for the day off she went comfortably with Karen and didn’t even know we’d gone! Karen kept our minds at ease with regular pictures and updates. Ava loved her time with Karen and the doggies and she will defiantly back 😊
Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Tyrion and Eric. Being away from them is always hard, but knowing they were happy, loved, and truly looked after made us feel completely at ease. We came home to two very content dogs, which says everything. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t trust anyone else. X

Schedule
I am a Learning and Development partner, I work from home the majority of the time, so am able to have well behaved visitors during the week, as long as they are not too shouty when I’m delivering workshops on Teams!! Other than that we have lots of weekend availability. I spend a lot of my time in the garden or walking so happy to have adventurous outdoorsy visitors, that said you will often find Reggie curled in a blanket on the sofa, where there is always room for a furry friend. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet to ensure our fur babies get on well.

We live in a large bungalow with a secure fenced garden. Around us we have lots of wooded walks and a large playing field for the tennis ball chasers. On the weekends we enjoy longer walks in the Peak District which is just down the road.
Pets
A typical day
I am happy to provide walks, cuddles and tug of war whenever needed. The key ingredients to a happy pooch! We have a great secure garden for lots of sniffing and investigating.
