I currently have one rescue pup who I love to spoil - he is a nice old chihuahua (5.5lbs). I just lost my lab/cattle dog, Kona, in Sept 2022. I have experience caring for older dogs who need meds and with little dogs who are timid. I have had my dogs for 12+ years and grew up with dogs and other pets. I am extremely reliable and work from home and know how important it is to give your fur kids the best life. I am part of the Tampa Bay Dog Moms group as well - i love all the dogs : ) I am also a homeowner so I understand how important it is to take care of and secure your home when you rely on a dog sitter/walker. I am extremely reliable and trustworthy and look forward to helping care for your dogs when you need it. I work 100% remote from my house, so I can go on lunch breaks, take mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks, and after work I can also take care of the pups. I work 8-5pm typically, M-F. I have two very sweet dogs, they just hang out with me. They are welcoming of other pups. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I go out with my dogs every time I take them out, so they are always supervised. I live on a dead end small street so I rarely get traffic.

This was Hazelnut's second stay with Karen. It was a smooth drop off, pick up and happy dog pictures throughout her stay.
Karen G. cancelled a booking 4 days before it was scheduled to begin.
For five days, Karen took care of my dog Bella. We have tried private rooms in hotels and many many dog sitters, but this is the best environment and person for my Bella.
Karen was amazing! We are new to the area and were a little nervous leaving our pup with someone for the first time. Karen was very welcoming during our meet & greet, and our dog immediately took to her. While away, Karen communicated frequently to keep us at ease and let us know everything was going well. When we had a last-minute schedule adjustment, she was exceptionally responsive, and we were able to work everything out. We highly recommend Karen as someone you may leave your furry loved one with and be able to breathe easily.
Karen is wonderful! Excellent communication, lots of photos of my pup during the day, and a bright, clean, quiet home. She was very attentive to making sure that our pup had stimulating play time and ample walks. You can tell right away how much she loves dogs. Highly recommended!

Schedule
I work from home 8-5pm Mon-fri. I let my dog out many times and take breaks to give the dogs the attention they need and want

Safety, trust & environment
I go out with my dog every time. He doesn’t use a leash but I would follow your instructions for your dog to ensure he/she is safe. I’m also at a dead end street, so minimal traffic

A typical day
I am able to do just about anything you prefer me to do with your dog. I can cuddle them or take them on long walks or play fetch in the yard. My neighbors have two nice smaller dogs, so if yours are ok off-leash we can also play in the yard with them. I also have a boat, so I could take them on my pontoon boat for a boat ride.
