Although I'm new to Rover, years ago I had a pet sitting service in the Oakland County area which lasted 17 years. My experience includes caring for senior pets, hearing and vision impaired dogs and unfortunately caring for dogs going through treatment for cancer, pancreatitis and other health issues. My joy is making your kids happy when you aren't there to.

I believe that the biggest advantage to having a pet sitter, especially for longer times away, is that your pets will remain in your home where they are comfortable and you have provided a safe environment. When we meet, we will thoroughly go over their routine, their likes and dislikes and how you care for them so I can keep them as close to their usual routine as possible. Playtime is the fun part! I will toss balls and play laser tag until they decide to quit or my arm falls off lol. For the more mellow fellows, lots of cuddles and lap time plus gentle exercise options like slow walks with lots of sniff time and puzzle toys and snuffle mats will keep them engaged and healthy. Be ready for daily updates and cute pics to let you know all is well and the kids are having a good time. One of the ways I feel that I stand out in this business is that this is so much more than a business to me. Animals have always been my passion. As a kid, I slept with three stuffed Lassies that were bigger than me and adopted every critter in the neighborhood before I was able to get one of my own. The day I got my first pup, Sacha, was one of the happiest days of my life. You are on this site because you care about your pets and want what is best for them. I promise to treat your kids and your home as if they were my own.

Karen did an outstanding job. We have a 15 1/2 year old jack Russel/beagle who has arthritis in her back legs. Karen was so kind and moved at her pace. Short walks, some topper for her food and some time to let our girl rest. Our dog got along great with her Dog. We had a couple meet and greets leading up to our vacation which helped her anxiety and ours! Karen also sent updates and pictures every morning. Seeing her happy put our minds at ease. I would highly recommend Karen!
As always, Karen and Clover are the best! I think my girls are depressed because we are back and Karen left!

She treated our dogs with all her heart. She gave her love and care just as she took care of her own dog. She also actively cooperatedwith our unexpected situation, and we were able to slove the issue thanks to her. Our dogs will never forget her genuine love.
Karen is the most conscientious dog sitter! She truly loves what she does and it shows. Very reliable - I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Schedule
I am retired now from my auto supplier job and am returning to doing what I love, hanging out with pups and kitties making sure they are safe and happy in the comfort of their own home. My schedule is flexible and I am taking a very limited number of clients at a time to allow for plenty of time at each home so your pets will get the attention and love they deserve.
