I’m currently in between jobs, I was a federal employee for 22 years and became a #DOGEvictim. I’m home 90% of the time, and dogs have access to all parts of the house and out back!

I have a nice size fenced in backyard, with two plastic bubbles for the dogs to see what’s happening out front! That’s definitely a fan favorite!

Scared of thunder? Same! Let me know if your pups have any weird habits or something I should look out for. We prep for storms by putting on our thunder shirts!
A typical day
Depending on the weather, I have umbrellas, couches, dog beds, cooling stations and dog pools out back when it’s hot! Plenty of balls of all sizes and ropes for tug of war! We get an upward of 10k a steps for walk daily— usually 3-4 depending on the weather!

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Karen and I’m a dog mama!! My pitsenji, Nordy, is almost 7 year old and most would say is... SPOILED! We don’t deserve dogs! <3 Nordy is shy and timid at first, (scared of her own shadow) then opens up! Happy to do a meet and greet! SLEEPOVER PARTY?! Nordy would be THRILLED to play tug of war or fetch with another pal besides her hooman! I have a doggy door that leads out to a beautiful fenced in back yard that’s filled with toys, toys and more toys! (I already said Nordy was spoiled!) Best of all, we are both willing to share! There’s plenty of space indoor or out for quiet time because that’s a must! Walks are always a fun adventure! I prefer a park area, but sometimes the neighborhood walks are just as good! I have a few crates, blankets, toys, beds galore! While Nordy does have a doggy bed, she prefers the couch or human bed! If you’d like to pack a “sleepover” bag, that’s fine too! If not, just be sure to bring a leash, dog tag (just to be on the safe side!), food, and any “must-haves”! I’m fine with the dogs on my furniture, and have a separate room for bedtime! There’s a nightlight, crates and dog beds! Nordy would be happy to share her room for bed time, but if that doesn’t work, there are more rooms! I’m all about a safe environment, so cameras are throughout the house and outside! Let me know if your pup has any allergies, what (If anything) frightens him/her), usual bed time/wake up time, and anything important you’d like to share! I want this to be a great experience for us all! NEED ME TO STOP BY? That’s easy! I can come for a quick play date and potty break! Warning: there will be lots of love provided! JUST A WALK? If you just need a walk.. we’re your go-to girls!
Reviews

Our dog had a great stay! Our dog was immediately comfortable and the home was set up well for pets. Karen was a great communicator and took wonderful care of our pup.

Karen took wonderful and attentive care of our pooch, and covered us in an unexpected last-minute emergency in our need of a sitter. Thank you Karen!

Karen was amazing! She took great care of our little guy and communicated well throughout the entire stay.

Karen is amazing with Bo. All I have to do is say her name and he runs to the door ready to go. She sends a lot of fun pics and he loves going over to her home. Very thankful we found her.
