Retired w/ 1 acre fenced back yard
My husband and I have had dogs most of our lives and have had as many as 4 during our 16 years of marriage....all rescues. We pet-sit for friends and family often and now that we are retired from full-time jobs, we are extending that service to others through Rover. We especially appreciate senior dogs.

We have a 1 acre fenced back yard (4 ft high fence) for dogs to run and play. We have a network of dog doors for small/medium sized dogs so they can be trained to go out into the fenced yard whenever they wish. We have a pool but it's fenced in so dog can't go swimming without permission. We do have a Rubbermaid stock tank that our guest dogs can use to cool off. If you crate your dog during the night, we can align to that but our two dogs sleep with us on our bed at night. Yours can too if you wish.

Karen and Chris took very good care of my pups. They sent pictures and a few videos throughout the sit. Karen even gave Briar a bath after she got into something. I recommend them!

Karen and Christopher are wonderful. We didn’t worry at all with them watching our Millie and Moose while we were gone. They updated us regularly which was great! Our pups were very well cared for and happy and so were we! I very highly recommend using Karen and Christopher!

We have part-time jobs but one of us is home most of the time. We do travel in our RV and would block out those dates in the calendar.
