I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. For the past 8 years, I’ve been the proud pet parent of two wonderful dogs who are a big part of my daily routine—I play with them, make sure they get plenty of exercise, feed them nutritious meals, and, most importantly, give them lots of love and attention. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve also volunteered with a local rescue organization, helping homeless puppies find loving homes. I’ve fostered dogs and kittens in need, giving them a safe and nurturing environment while they wait for their forever families. This hands-on experience has taught me how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs with patience and compassion.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for any pet—whether it’s in my home or yours. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with secure spaces where dogs can play, relax, and feel comfortable. I’m always mindful of keeping anything unsafe (like cords, small objects, or toxic foods) out of reach, and I never leave pets unattended in risky situations. When caring for a client’s dog, I follow their routine closely and keep communication open with regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, needs, and boundaries to make sure they feel safe and loved. Whether we’re on a walk, having playtime, or just cuddling, your dog’s well-being is always my focus.

Karen was great with our old man cat. He's a bit shy but loves attention and so it was nice to see that he warmed up to her quickly. She was responsive, caring, and took care of all the cat's needs without ever missing a step. We'll definitely rebook if we're traveling out of town again in the future!

Schedule
I’m available on weekends and most holidays, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pup, including visits to your home if needed. During the week, I work a regular 8–5 job, but I make time in my schedule to provide consistent care. I can stop by for potty breaks and walks in the morning before work, around lunchtime (around noon) if needed, and again in the evening after 5 PM. Your dog’s comfort and routine are important to me, and I’m happy to work with you to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they need throughout the day.
