My girl loves Karen and they have the BEST time together! I’m so relaxed knowing that she’s safe and happy when I’m traveling and there’s nothing to worry about. Karen sends me great updates and photos and this time went the extra mile celebrating my gal’s bday with puppy cake and festivities while I was gone. Thank you so much!!!

Karen & Matt truly love my dog Merle like their own. They are always detailed orientated, great with communication, and send the best pictures/videos. They kept Merle on track with his medication schedule, took him for long sniffing walks, and even hand fed him to kick start his appetite. Whenever Merle is here, I am truly able to relax and not worry about him.

Karen is a wonderful host for our two pooches. Our terrier runs to the front door knowing what fun awaits and our small poodle is adapting much quicker than before. Lots of walks ,ball retrieval, and tug of war games keep them busy and let us relax on vacation knowing they are very well taken care of. Karen and Matt really enjoy having them over!
Karen communicates well, always leaves my place clean, and keeps my dog Reese happy while I'm away! She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure he is cared for.

Karen and Matt did an outstanding job taking care of our dog, Gatsby. They spoiled him with lots of walks and play and sent pictures regularly. They are wonderful people, as well.
Luna had the best time with Matt and Karen! I was pretty anxious about leaving her after recent medical issues which require continued care, but after a meet and greet, and communication leading up to my trip, I knew I had found the perfect sitters who would be patient and attentive to her needs. From the videos and pictures I could tell how comfortable and happy she was. We will contacting Matt & Karen for any travel in the future!

Schedule
My partner Matt and I work remotely, so there is at least one responsible person at home at all times when caring for your pet. Whether we are housesitting or boarding, we adjust our routines and activities to match the needs of your pet.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's health and safety is my top priority! We use Ahimsa techniques to reduce reactivity in dogs and generally avoid getting close to people and other dogs on walks. When boarding anxious dogs in our home, we provide a calm environment with treat puzzles and snuffle mats, and we run fans (or the A/C on hot days) to dampen outside noises. Our house has gates blocking doors to the outside and fully fenced yard (6 ft tall) lined with bricks in case of digging. There are no toxic plants where dogs can access them. We do not feed "people food" to dogs.
Pets
A typical day
Matt and I take walks and play breaks throughout the day, and will adjust our routines as needed. We have treat puzzles when boarding dogs that need mental stimulation, and lick mats to reduce anxiety.
