Loving one pet at a time!
Hi there! My husband and I are both experienced in caring for puppies, adult dogs, and cats. While we don’t currently have pets of our own, we absolutely love being able to care for them as part of our work. We are a one-pet-at-a-time household, which means your furry family member will receive our full, undivided attention. We both grew up with animals—between us, we’ve cared for three dogs and two cats—so providing love, companionship, and quality care comes naturally to us. Whether it’s handing out treats, going for long walks in the park, or enjoying cozy cuddle time, we’re happy to tailor the experience to your pet’s needs and personality. We also have a baby at home, which means we maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing environment throughout the day. Your pet will be treated like a member of our family, with plenty of affection and attention. We understand how hard it can be to leave your beloved pet behind, so we’re happy to provide regular updates and photos during their stay with us to give you peace of mind. We look forward to welcoming your fur baby into our home!

Karen is wonderful! Booking was easy and she was super responsive. She took great care of Lucy and sent us updates and pics. Lucy clearly had a very nice time! We are so glad to have found Karen and to know that Lucy is in good hands whenever we’re in town and go somewhere we can’t take Lucy.

Karen and her husband were wonderful sitters from the moment I dropped Humphrey off. My dog was immediately welcomed and felt very comfortable with them and their home. I received daily updates about her eating, playing, cuddling and any other happenings along with pictures and videos. When we picked Humphrey back up she seemed very happy and at home. What a relief to have found such a great pet sitter!
Karen and Harold are just wonderful people and dog minders. Lovely home with a good backyard, fully fenced, nice quiet neighborhood. Our little rescue senior dog loved staying here and they took great care. Walking her every day, feeding her on the schedule we set out, pampering her with hugs and belly rubs. Just generally wonderful! Will book again and we really like that they take only one dog at a time. Fantastic!
Karen is attentive and caring! She’s watched our babies for the third time and I appreciate her communication each time.
Karen and Harold were great. They took very good care of our little dachshund, Oliver. He can be a bit anxious but he relaxed with them right away. I highly recommend them!

Schedule
My husband and I both work full-time from home, which allows us the flexibility to provide your pet with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Our work schedules are highly adaptable, with only a few calls or meetings each day, so we’re able to step away as needed to ensure your pet’s comfort and well-being. We’re also happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible, and we offer boarding services at any time to fit your schedule.

Our home features a spacious, fully fenced backyard—perfect for safe playtime and potty breaks. When indoors, your pet will stay comfortable in a climate-controlled environment with air conditioning. We live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that’s ideal for relaxing morning walks, and we’re just around the corner from a beautiful park for additional outdoor time and enrichment.
A typical day
truly enjoy engaging with dogs during playtime—fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favorites! I also provide interactive toys to help keep them mentally stimulated, and I’ll often play pet-friendly videos on YouTube for added enrichment. On warmer days, I set up cooling mats, small splash pools, and make sure fresh, cool water is always available to keep your pup comfortable. On cooler days, I create a cozy atmosphere with soft blankets, treats, and plenty of cuddle time to help your pet feel safe and relaxed.
