Pet care experience
Dogs love our countryside retreat.
We (me and hubby Anthony) have been taking care of friends and family's dogs for the last 10 years. They are always reluctant to leave us. We simply love caring for dogs and our own cocker spaniel loves to have new friends. We are an adults only house and things are pretty quiet and relaxed.

Chester had the time of his life staying with Karen and Anthony for 3 nights. He was very well cared for and appeared to thoroughly enjoy his walks and play time in the garden. I felt very happy leaving Chester in Karen’s care and would not hesitate to do so again.

From the moment we met Karen and Anthony, we knew Lola would be in great hands. It was our first time leaving her with someone we didn't know, so we were naturally a little nervous. However, Karen and Anthony made us feel completely at ease. Lola had the best time with them, and it was clear she was happy, well cared for, and loved. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Karen and Anthony again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy dog sitters!
Tommy had the best time at Karen and Anthony’s. Made himself right at home. First time I’ve ever left my dog with a border. I was immediately put at ease following our meet and greet and knew when Tommy went to stay he would have a lovely time. Which he did of course. Was lovely to receive the pictures Karen sent whilst I was away….confirmation my dog was living the good life. Would highly recommend Karen and Anthony to care for your hairy hounds!
If I could leave 10/10 I would. The dogs had a wonderful stay with Karen and Anthony whose kindness and care for the dogs' individual needs was absolutely evident. I very much appreciated the peace of mind of knowing they were safe and having the best time. Thank you both. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope this is the first of many stays.

Schedule
Daily dog walks on different country routes are a joy. As we both work from home we tend not to leave any dog longer than two hours if we have to pop out.

Safety, trust & environment
We are lucky to have such a large space (just under an acre) for the dogs run around which is all secure and safe. Overnight boarding, a dog will have free roam to find their comfy space and can sleep on the bed if they prefer. We try to follow the dog's usual routine to help them settle with us.
Pets
A typical day
We find a lot of dogs love chasing/playing ball in our garden/field together with hide and seek the toy or the human..I have been able to train some dogs to sniff out and find their treats.
