Hi! My name is Karen and I’ve had a lifelong love for animals. I grew up with pets my whole life. I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also have experience volunteering in animal shelters, where I worked with a variety of pets and learned how to be patient, attentive, and responsive to each animal’s behavior. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, or just some extra care and attention, I will treat them like they’re my own. All was great.!. Bijou had a fun time. I got updates and photos. I would recommend. Thank you from Bijou and I for taking good care of her.
I requested walks for my dog Shadow. She is extremely reactive and I wasn't sure if a walk would ever work out but Karen was extremely patient and loving to her. I never thought I would see her trust anyone other than family. Karen regularly walks her and has even boarded Shadow. I absolutely recommend requesting Karen. You can tell she truly loves animals, your pets will feel her energy and feel safe with her.
Karen is a great caregiver. I love to see her love and care for animals. She has cared for my Yorkie while I am away for trips. Extremely trustworthy and has passion and heart for animals.
Karen has taken care of Jr, my black male cat while I am away on work trips or long hours at work. He has an eating disorder and separation anxiety. Although he can be a lot, Karen is patient and shows love and compassion. I have never seen him trust and feel safe with anyone else. I hired multiple sitters before Karen and they would get frustrated with him but with Karen you can tell how much she loves animals. She goes out of her way to bring him snacks, toys, and calming spray. I don’t ask for any of that but I’m extremely grateful Jr has Karen.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available throughout the day. I prioritize feeding times, playtime, and check ins, and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, calm, and cozy environment where pets can feel right at home. My home has large, secure spaces with a fully fenced backyard and front yard for safe play. I also have cat trees, cat toys, dog toys, and a dog friendly pool to keep pets happy and entertained. For comfort and safety, I have a crate available if needed and a separate studio space for my own pets when boarding, creating a relaxed environment for everyone. I’m also live near a park and can take pets on walks for fresh air and exercise. I always follow each pet’s routine and give them plenty of love, attention, and care, with regular updates for peace of mind.

A typical day
A typical day includes a calm, structured routine with feeding, fresh water, and lots of attention. I spend time playing, engaging with toys, and giving pets affection based on personality and whether they are energetic or more relaxed. I also make sure they get time to explore, rest comfortably, and feel safe throughout the day.
