Over the years I've had many pets of my own, although I currently don't. My last pet was one I inherited from my daughter and she was in her last 5 years of life, became incontinent and developed dementia. She was a mix of Chihuahua and Jack Russell Terrier. All the more reason to pet sit, dog walk, etc. to satisfy my desire to be with animals. All of my pets were adopted. My Sheeba Enu was a wild child and untrained. So, that took a lot of care on my part to oversee her. She developed a tumor in her kidney, so I cared for her to the end, giving her medicines and intravenous fluids to try to save her. My Akita was very well behaved, however, as most know, one of the breeds people considered dangerous. He was 110 lbs, so, I have experience with big dogs, little dogs and unruly ones. I have pet sit for many friends and family over the years, for favors, in their home and mine, however only have a few photos to share and have never done it professionally. I've never had a dog not like me and hope that continues. I am a massage therapist so I do like to massage dogs and maybe that's why most of them like me. I love doing it for them.
