I have been a dedicated cat guardian since the age of 9, and my life has revolved around feline care ever since. Currently, I am a proud 'cat parent' to three wonderful cats of my own, each with their own unique personality and needs. My experience includes: * Years of Fostering: I have worked with various rescues to foster cats of all temperaments. This has given me the patience to work with shy 'hiders,' high-energy kittens, and senior cats. * Medical Proficiency: Through fostering and personal care, I am fully comfortable administering oral fluids, eye medications, and topical treatments. I know how to keep a cat calm while ensuring they get the care they need. * 'Escape-Artist' Awareness: I am hyper-vigilant about home security. I practice strict 'door-control' to ensure flight-risk cats stay safely inside. * Cleanliness & Routine: I believe a happy cat needs a clean environment. I always scoop the litter, sweep up tracked debris, and ensure feeding areas are spotless. * Communication & Photos: I love taking high-quality photos of my feline friends! You can expect multiple daily updates and 'mini photo shoots' so you never feel far from your pet.

Karen was absolutely wonderful and I could not recommend her enough as a pet sitter! She cared for my anxious cat and really took her time to accommodate to her feeding schedule and encourage plenty of playtime. This was my first time leaving my cat with anyone for a week and Karen easily exceeded my expectations and calmed my nerves! She took her time to understand my cat and her quirks and even went out of her way to buy her treats. She also constantly updated me and sent many videos and pictures which I absolutely loved. I will most definitely be rebooking again with her in the future. My cat is safe, healthy, and happy, and it’s all thanks to Karen!😄
I cannot recommend Karen highly enough as a pet caregiver. She is a true animal lover with three cats of her own, plus a wonderful track record of fostering. Whenever anyone in our friend group goes on vacation, Karen is always our go-to sitter because we know our pets will be well cared for. She is not only genuinely loving and responsible, but also deeply knowledgeable about feline behavior. For example, she knows exactly how to encourage healthy interactions, like strictly using toys instead of hands during playtime so cats don't learn bad biting habits. She's taught us a few interesting quirks of cats, like play time should come before feeding, because it mimics a cats "hunt" for food, leaving them feeling fulfilled. She understands how to keep pets safe, happy, and well adjusted. Anyone would be lucky to have Karen looking after their cats!
Responsibility? Karen’s defining characteristic is responsibility. She has the instincts to protect animals that are in need. From her experience of fostering cats multiple times through the years, and finding them a caring family. Life sometimes can be a dark tunnel and Karen is the light at the end of it. She has nothing, but good intentions for the animals that have the privilege of being in her care. So, with that said, just have a peace of mind, when you hire her to take care of your little ones to not so little ones.
I highly recommend Karen as a pet sitter. She has previous experience caring for pets, including looking after my dog, Cici, and she did an amazing job. Karen is responsible, attentive, and genuinely loves animals, which really shows in the way she cares for them. She is reliable, communicates well, and makes sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I would absolutely trust her again with any pet, and I’m confident anyone who hires her will feel the same peace of mind.

As a graduate student with a flexible academic schedule, I have significant time throughout the week to dedicate to my cat-only clients. Because I am not tied to a traditional 9-to-5 office job, I can easily accommodate mid-day visits, specific feeding windows, or time-sensitive medical needs. I am highly organized and used to managing multiple responsibilities, so you can count on me to be punctual and consistent with your cat’s routine. My current schedule allows me to offer the focused attention, playtime, and detailed photo updates that every cat deserves.

In My Home (Boarding): I provide a dedicated, stress-free 'Guest Suite' for my boarding clients. Your cat will have their own private, quiet room (our spare bedroom/office) entirely to themselves. This space is fully equipped with: - A large window with a cat tree: Perfect for 'cat TV' and bird watching throughout the day. - Total Separation: For safety and peace of mind, guest cats never interact with my personal pets. - Pheromone Support: I use Feliway diffusers in the guest suite to help new arrivals feel calm and at home immediately. In Your Home (Drop-Ins): My goal is to keep your cat’s routine exactly as it is when you are home. During my 30 or 60-minute visits, I focus on: - Safety First: I am hyper-vigilant about door security to ensure your cat stays safely inside. - Personalized Interaction: Whether your cat wants a high-energy feather-toy session or just quiet companionship while I sit nearby, I follow their lead. - Full Service: I handle all feedings, fresh water, and litter box maintenance (including a quick sweep of the area!). - Detailed Updates: You will receive detailed update(s) and photos (and videos, if requested) with every visit

I believe cats thrive on mental stimulation! I can provide enrichment by teaching your cat to sit, high-five, or spin using positive reinforcement. Beyond training, we’ll enjoy interactive play with their favorite toys, try feeding puzzles (with your permission ofc), gentle grooming sessions if they enjoy it, and even some 'Cat TV' for relaxation. Since I’m a graduate student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to these focused activities, ensuring your cat stays entertained and happy while you're away.
