Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. I had a senior dog of nearly 16 years who just passed away due to cancer so I have experience caring for senior dogs all the way to their end of life. I also have a rabbit who has had lots of health issues, so I am condfident with syringe feeding and administering medications.
