I'm currently volunteering three days a week at a barn in Elkhart Indiana. I would be available to care for your pet in the north Liberty Indiana area Friday through Monday. I may be available outside of these days on certain weeks so please contact me and I will see if I can work something out with you.

I have experience using fenced in yards and tie outs as well as just taking a dog on the leash in the backyard. I have experience creating and uncrating a dog as well as walks, feeding, and medication administration.

It's important for me to know your pets energy needs, feeding schedule, where the leash and bags are located. If your dog has any winter gear in the winter time. Any medication needed and instructions for administering this. Where the dogs toys and bed are. Also if the dog is allowed on furniture or if any areas are off limits.
A typical day
I get up and feed the dog. Some times take the dog for a walk or have a short okay session. Then I let the dog out for potty breaks as often as needed. The rest of the time we just hang out together.

I've cared for dogs since middle school for neighbors friends and family. I have experience with energetic breeds such as Siberian Huskies and stubborn breeds such as chow chows. I also have basic pet first aid knowledge and basic pet training understanding.

This was our first time using Karah's services and she proved to be an open communicator, a photo-taker/sharer, and a conscientious provider! She even took Tux on walks in dreary weather and then in cold, blustery weather! We would definitely use her again :)
