I’ve been caring for animals since I was 15, giving me 21 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, including rodents. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and boundaries. What sets me apart is how mindful I am of an animal’s energy and body language. I don’t force interaction or expect every pet to warm up immediately. I’m patient, loving, attentive, and happy to let your pet set the pace while I earn their trust. Whether your pet is outgoing and affectionate, independent, shy, or just particular about how they like things done, I’ll care for them with the same patience, respect, and attention I would want for my own.

I care for each pet based on their individual routine, personality, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal feeding, walking, play, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I’m very attentive to body language and energy, so I never force interaction. Whether a pet wants lots of affection and playtime or prefers a little more space, I let them set the pace. During walks and drop-ins, I focus on safety, exercise, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention. I also understand that caring for someone’s pet means respecting their home. I’m clean, responsible, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own dog. I’m used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and consistency they need. I’m available for walks and drop-ins outside of my weekday work hours, as well as evenings, weekends, and overnight house sitting. I’m reliable about routines and happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible.
