Senior dog friendly home, WFH
We have a one story house with an unfenced yard with leads and can walk around the block, privacy at the end of the street with lots of nature and room. We host one pet family at a time, though if your dog can be around other dogs and you’re comfortable with having them be boarded with others, let us know. Prefer meet and greets to get to know the pet’s temperament. Like to know if they get anxious, whine or bark at certain times. We have been working with Rover for years and can care for any kind of pet. We prefer dogs with a calmer temperament and we would like to know when your dog barks, if at all. We have a quiet house and perfect for dogs who prefer people or are nervous/anxious. We had a senior dog and are able to handle lots of variations of care. Looking forward to getting to know your pet and give them all of our attention!

Steve & Kara were reliable & friendly. I truly appreciated when they took Elio on longer walks & stayed for the full hour time of booking. Got lots of cute pictures and Elio seemed well taken care of & happy while I was away. Would recommend to anyone looking to for a dog sitter, they did great!
Kara and Steven took great care with our aging beloved hound. They gave her many pets and massages and regularly sent photos and movies which definitely put our minds at ease. We so appreciated their experience with older dogs and their house was perfectly suited for our girl with not having to climb many stairs and a yard and trails area. Huge thanks to Kara and Steven who we whole-heartedly recommend.
I have 12-year old small mixed breed named Bella. We met when she was 7. Since then she has only stayed with my family members, never a stranger, when I leave home without her. So, I was nervous about leaving her with anyone else. I need not have worried! Bella seemed to do just fine with Kara and Steven, and they sent me lots of pictures so that I could rest easy. I would never hesitate to have her stay with them again :)
Kara and Steve always do an incredible job caring for our two senior dogs in our home. We get daily updates with pictures, which we love! They also take excellent care of our house, which gives such peace of mind when we are away. We are so grateful!

Schedule
We’re home during the week and can provide walks in the middle of the day if needed. Very flexible schedule and we are around often. Kara works from home 4 days a week.

We have a large unfenced yard and no stairs in the house. Lots of windows and nature to make your dog or cat feel calm.
A typical day
Wake up early and will feed everyone before going on a walk. Usually dogs nap for awhile while I work and around 12-2pm will do another walk. Then another around 8-9 Dog parks are an option
