Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Kara. I've been taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and even reptiles since I was 10 - both my own and those of friends and neighbors. I currently have three years of experience caring for a senior dog with chronic skin, digestion, and mobility issues, so I am prepared to handle the special needs of your fur baby. I've also recently adopted an adolescent cat, and making sure she has the best life possible is one of my life's highest priorities. Additionally, I have experience house/pet-sitting for extended periods of time with excellent references. I love being able to form a close connection with any animal in my care, as well as making sure your house stays in good condition while you're away. In addition to pet care, I can also collect your mail, take out the trash, water your plants, mow the lawn, and more!

Kara stayed in our house and cared for it, our two elderly but lively indoor dogs, and our one outside cat for around three weeks last fall. She was exceptionally good help, taking excellent care of the animals, communicating with us as needed, leaving the house in perfect condition, and in being cheerful, pleasing company throughout. When our dogs had the opportunity to meet her again, they were overjoyed to see her. Clearly she now is on their "best friend" list, and we are delighted that she has agreed to stay here with them again in the near future. We recommend her highly.
