I grew up around many different breeds and species of animals, they are our family, friends and even children. They deserve to be treated equally. I have years of experience in sitting many different breeds and ages, kittens, even farm animals! Chickens, pigs and sheep. Open to rodent and reptilian care as well. I allow each animal to come to me in their own time. High energy? No problem! I’m eager to walk as many times as needed and play with them! Many of my friends have trusted me to watch their animals for years, and I have an amazing connection with each one. I hope to understand your animals personality and treat them like my own.

I have 2 cats whom I love as I my own children until I decide I want to have kids. Every animal I care for feels safe and comfortable with me. I have calming energies they tend to gravitate towards. My most recent sitting interaction called me an “animal whisperer” one of the best compliments I have ever received. I ensure each animal feels safe and loved.

Kara was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our dogs and our home, and she kept us updated throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. When we came home, the dogs were calm, happy, and completely settled, which is always the best sign that they were well cared for. The house was also left very neat and clean. Kara was responsible, caring, communicative, and just an all-around wonderful dog sitter. We would absolutely have her stay with our dogs again and highly recommend her!

Thora took to Kara right away at the meet & greet, and Kara was willing to brave a potential snow and ice storm while we were away. She checked in a couple of times a day with details and photos, and it gave us peace to know that Thora was getting lots of love and play. The house was very tidy when we returned.
Kara was kind, professional, and really easy to communicate with from start to finish. I came home to relaxed and happy animals. Everything was handled reliably and with care. I’d book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.
Kara took such great care of our pup over the holidays! She arrived on time, was a stellar communicator, and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with our pup!
Kara was an excellent sitter for my dog Koa. She learned about Koa's personality and attended to her specific needs. As a long-term sitter and weekly dog walker, I can truly trust that my dog and home are in good hands with Kara. She's a great communicator and very understanding/resilient with my requests. She kept my home in incredible condition and even went above and beyond to leave the home better than she found it. Far exceeded my expectations and I'm so grateful.

Schedule
Pet care and house sitting fit perfectly into my weekly routine. I work at the Asheville Salt Cave on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If a day is blocked off message me and we can figure something out!
