I follow all instructions carefully, use secure leashes and harnesses, and maintain a calm, loving environment. Anything else you need, I can do it. I keep constant communication (texts, photos, videos, and any updates requested) so you always know your pet is happy and cared for. I treat every home and pet with the respect and attention they deserve because that is what I would want for my baby.

A typical day
We will play lots of games, give them owner-approved treats, lots of pets and belly rubs (if they’d like), and explore our local dog park. I am always open to finding tried, trusted, and even new ways of keeping your pet(s) entertained!

I’ve cared for pets my whole life, and am passionate about our furry relatives who need gentle and/or care-ful patience and attention. I’m experienced with small to large breeds, leash training, and rescues in need of extra love. Every animal has their own personality/quirks, and I take time to build trust and make them feel safe, in whatever this may be. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, or cuddle time, I treat every furry friend as a family member 🐶💛🎃🐈⬛

Kara is an amazing and reliable pet sitter! She has always took great care of our cats and made us feel so at ease while we were gone from home. Her excellent communication was greatly appreciated, especially for late-notice requests and adjustments. I definitely recommend Kara and would be happy to use her services again.
Kara is a wonderful caregiver and is one of the most reliable pet sitters that I know of. She has taken care of my cat whenever I went out of town or long distance travels, if needed. She's a pet owner herself and has shown that shown's that she's constantly attending to their needs especially for a dog owner. She has been patient and observant towards the animals she tends to and continues to be a supportive caretaker whenever people need a sitter whether that's communicating and coordinating times or just maintaining feedback whenever I was away from my pet. She's able to meet at many places and open to accommodate for many reasonable requests. Kara's been a pet sitter for good amount of time now and is familiar with the process of walking, or staying in the house to sit.
