Owner away? I walk, sit and stay!
I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I started pet sitting for others in high school and have continued through college. I’ve regularly walked, fed, bathed, and played with pets for families. I’m a 2 time Purdue grad with my Bachelor’s in Animal Science and my Master’s in Swine Nutrition. I also have 3 years of vet tech experience and am comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats.

At this time, I do not offer in-home boarding services as I have several pets of my own and want to maintain a calm, consistent environment for both them and any animals in my care. I’m happy to provide high-quality drop-in visits, walks, or house sitting in your pet’s own familiar space to ensure their comfort and well-being

Kara was fantastic! I booked her pretty last minute for Memorial Day and she took amazing care of my cat. My kitty needs medication and Kara did a great job with that. My cat quickly warmed up to her and was so comfortable around her that he rolled over and let her pet his belly. Will definitely recommend Kara!
Kara did a great job. She followed all the instructions we left her, gave us thorough updates of each visit and went above and beyond putting several heavy packages we had delivered into the garage. She also sent us lots of pictures which we loved!
Kara is amazing!! We are happy to have found someone who takes such good care of our cats. Also, she has knowledge on administering pills and aerocat, which is crucial for our cat with asthma. I'm very grateful for her help, and totally will recommend her. And her pictures are the best!!!
Kara was amazing with our kitties! She offered to come over before we left to get the lay of the land and meet our cats, and then on every visit went above and beyond to send photos, provide updates, and let us know everybody was doing great. Communication was simple and straightforward and she was a joy to work with. I’ll definitely keep her on our shortlist for our next trip out of town!

Schedule
Even though I work full time, I still love caring for pets and make time for pet care around my work schedule. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care seamlessly into my day. I regularly set aside time for walks, drop ins, and quality time with each pet, making sure their needs are always met. I enjoy the balance it brings to my routine and love having animals as part of my daily life.
