I have worked at a luxury boarding place during my college breaks for 3 years and have pet sit for many neighbors and family friends over the years.

During walks, I make sure the pet is securely leashed, hydrated if needed, and given the right amount of exercise based on their needs. I also take into consideration the temperature, specifically if it is too hot. For drop-in visits, I treat each home with the same respect I would want in mine. I make sure pets are happy and are well stocked with water and treats. I always check for anything out of the ordinary I like to keep owners updated with pictures so they feel connected and reassured.

Kara was incredibly kind and sweet with Bo. This was their first time meeting before she sits for him. She was proactive in asking for all of Bo’s care instructions and personality. I could tell that she has tons of experiences with all types of dogs and truly cares about their comfort. If you need a dog walker or sitter, book Kara!
