Dogs, cats, parrots and beyond!
Growing up, there was never a time that our family didn’t have pets. I absolutely adore critters of all kinds and love taking care of them! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and life stages as well as 10+ years caring for parrots of my own and volunteering at parrot rescues. I currently have 1 dog, 4 cats and a parrot at home! Whether you’ve got cats, dogs, birds or rodents, I’m your girl!

Safety, trust & environment
I am extremely attentive and thorough with pets. Having a sister who works in emergency vet medicine, I have heard all the cautionary tales. I always make sure to supervise outside time (especially in the summer), check for any choking hazards, keep water bowls full, and make sure the whole crew is feeling their best! I am also well versed in reading animals’ body language and make it a point to respect pets’ boundaries and keep them comfortable with me.

I’ve known Kara and her pets for many years. She’s kind, compassionate, and always willing to learn. She’s taken care of my own pets on more than one occasion and has always done a wonderful job. She’s communicative, follows instructions to a T, and truly cares for every animals she comes across - regardless of species.
Kara has pet sit and watched over my sweet kiddos multiple times. She is very attentive and provides updates after each visit. She communicates well and is passionate about providing excellent care!

Schedule
I am a student at UNT working part time as a florist. My schedule is flexible and my classes are staggered so I can fit drop-ins into my day easily!
