Hello my name is Kara, I am a MSU graduate with a BS in animal science. I'v lived with animals my entire life and have made taking care of animals into a career. I am flexible, energetic, active and knowledgeable. I would love nothing more than to take care of your beloved pets. I will provide the attention they need while their parents are working or need a vacation. My love for animals runs deep, I will treat them as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to run around. If your pets gets along with my dogs they can run and play together. If your pet prefers some alone time I have plenty of quiet space in the house. I know basic first aid and I monitor the animals in my care very closely. I am also a dog trainer so I can provide those services while your pet is in my care or separate from pet sitting.

Kara is very timely in picking my pup up for walks and is great with him even though he is usually super crazy on walks!
I returned home to two very happy, relaxed and well fed dogs - one a senior and the other a 10 month old lab pup, so Kara had to meet the needs of two very different dogs - and appears to have done so very well. House looks great and we will definitely ask for Kara again. Very happy.
Kara is a warm, giving, patient and perceptive pet sitter. My boy Buddy apparently followed her around all day and soaked up all the love and attention that she so generously gave to him. She was very communicative sharing photos and updates which meant a lot to me! I look forward to engaging her to care for my pet again soon! Thank you Kara!
Kara came to meet Cairo before walking him. He seemed to like her right away. She took him for a two mile walk even though it was snowing sideways so I am very grateful for that! Will definitely rebook :)
Kara is one of the most qualified people that I have ever met when it comes to taking care of pets. She is very compassionate and does everything that she can to show animals that she truly cares about them. I have known Kara for a couple years now and I have never seen an animal that did not have a great time being around her. She truly is an animal lover and pet owners can rest assured that she will take amazing care of their pet children. There is no one that I would trust more watching my pets than Kara.
Kara is a great candidate for being a pet sitter with Rover because she is kind, caring, and loves animals. She has her four year degree in Animal Science and expresses her love for animals everyday with her own Husky Raina. Not only does she show love for her own pet, but she also shows love for others. My dog Atlas quickly became attached to Kara because of she care for him. She would feed him when I wasn't home after 7pm, she would clean up his throw up when he got sick. I and a lot of people would love to see Kara as a pet sitter because we all know how much she loves animals.

Schedule
I am a dog trainer so my schedule is very flexible, I can make my own hours. A typical work day ranges from 2-8 hours away from home but most days I can work from home. I can take breaks at any point during the day for drop in visits for a walk, meals or just to see how they are doing. In some cases I can bring your pet with me to work.
