Hello! My name is Kara. I work from home so I have flexible hours to take care of your pupper. I can't have a dog where I live, but as a dog-lover, I so enjoy getting the opportunity to care for other people's pets. I've watched big and small dogs from beagles and french bull dogs to greyhounds, and great pyrenees. I have experience with old dogs, puppies, and everything I between. I can administer medicine as well. I'm happy to provide references from past dog sitting experiences. I'm looking forward to meeting you and you doggo. I am great at fitting into your dog’s routine and your home’s specific environment. Happy to accommodate any rules you have for where your dog can and can’t go, and happy to take advantage of parks, trails, yard space etc. Near your home. Also happy to take your dog on longer hikes if appropriate.

Kara is such a great sitter - she's on top of everything but seems to handle it all with ease and good nature. She took care of my foster kitten and house while we took a vacation. The kitty was new to our house and needed regular medication but was quick to trust Kara, sleeping on her lap in no time. I got many updates from Kara throughout our trip. It was so reassuring that we had someone so thoughtful to tend to our space while we were away.

For many years, Kara has provided high quality in-home care for my dog. She has reliably administered medications for my pup, carried out a consistent and familiar routine in my absence and smothered him in love. We have been so lucky to have her.

Dependable, caring and an all around pleasure! Kara has been watching my four-year old French Bulldog since day one. Kara always makes sure to maintain our care-taking routine to ensure consistency for my pup’s lifestyle and training! She also showers my pup with tons of love and play time, so I know he is getting everything he needs and more. And it shows- he is always excited to see her!
Kara is the absolute best whenever she takes care of my pup. She is extremely responsible and I never worry about leaving my fur-baby with her. My dog is always SO excited to see her, and he always comes home tired and happy from a long day of playing. Kara is always quick to respond to messages. She is great about sending updates and adorable photos of my pup throughout his visits. 10/10 recommend Kara for any pup care needs!

Schedule
I work from home, so caring for dogs helps me get away from my desk and outside. My ideal scenario is staying with a dog longer term (a week or more) so I can establish a relationship with a pup and get on their schedule.
