Hi! I'm so excited to meet you and your furry family members! 🐾 I've spent over six years working professionally with animals in both veterinary hospitals and pet care facilities, so caring for pets isn't just something I enjoy, it's what I've built my career around. I previously worked at VCA Animal Hospital and Wagly Pet Campus, where I gained experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace, I'm comfortable adapting to each pet's unique needs. My background has given me extensive knowledge of animal behavior, pet safety, and recognizing when something isn't quite right. I understand how important routine, patience, and positive interactions are, and I always treat every pet with the same love and attention I'd give my own. In 2023, I lost my beloved cat to heart disease. He was my best friend, and losing him reminded me just how special the bond between people and their pets truly is. While nothing could ever replace him, caring for other animals has been incredibly healing for me. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, and being able to give them affection, exercise, and companionship is one of the most rewarding parts of my day. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll always treat your dog like family, keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, and make sure every walk is safe, fun, and tailored to your dog's personality and energy level. Whether your pup loves long adventures, leisurely neighborhood strolls, or just wants a caring companion while you're away, I'd be honored to help. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend!

She has worked with all types of animals, and she especially knows how to work with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personality types. Her expertise paired with her empathy and overall bright personality makes her the perfect caretaker for your furry family members.
Kara is the most caring, responsible, and timely dog-walker I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, especially dogs and it really is a joy to see! She is hands down the most trustworthy person and I don’t want anyone else walking Dinger and Slingshot.
Kara is an amazing dog walker! Our dog is sensitive to new people, but Kara took her time with her and now our dog gets so excited every time she sees her! She is attentive and sweet with our pup. We are grateful for her (so is our dog!).

Schedule
I am a work-from-home mom and I schedule walks during the quiet parts of my day. I enjoy walking and being outside, and it’s so much better with a furry friend.
