Hi, I’m Kara! Caring for animals is my full-time career and biggest passion. I’m a professional dog trainer with experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from tiny puppies to strong, high-energy breeds and seniors who need a gentler touch. 2026 marks 11 years in the pet care and wellness world, and I still genuinely love what I do every single day. In addition to training, I’m a certified pet herbalist and currently studying pet nutrition, which helps me take a whole-animal approach to health, behavior, and comfort. At home, I have two large, powerful dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling big personalities and strong bodies, and I’ve owned cats all my life. My current cat was a foster fail of mine from back in 2020. I guarantee your pets will be with someone who truly understands both canine and feline behavior, not just basic care. It is my top goal to make you feel comfortable and confident in my level of experience, safety, and attention I provide. I focus on keeping pets calm, happy, and sticking to their normal routine as much as possible, with plenty of enrichment, patience, and affection. It's extremely rare for me to trust anyone with my dog but Kara was a breath of fresh air. She handled my TPLO recovering girl with the most love and care.

Kara was absolutely incredible with Honey! She kept me updated and sent me so many awesome pictures! It was really awesome, I didn’t have to worry at all about my dog because I knew she was having a blast. Will definitely reach out again anytime we need a sitter!

Kara was very responsive and agreed to take Totto and Kilo at very short notice! She was very flexible with the schedule and gladly accommodated our changes. She sent us regular photos and videos of Totto and Kilo and they enjoyed every bit of it! Will definitely love for her to watch over them again!
Kara was great with Ruth, very communicative and kept Rut active and happy. Ruth had a great time with her pup and was super happy & tired from playing the rest of the evening. Will definitely rebook and recommend.
