Hello! My name is Kara. I grew up always having and being around animals and now owning two cats of my own. I studied Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls for three years before taking some time to work full time. During that time, I had the pleasure of working and competing with the university’s horses as a part of the IHSA Hunt Seat Team. I was also able to gain more experience caring, working, and training a large variety of dogs with many different needs at Paws and Claws Pet Resort. I worked there for a little over a year before moving to Prior Lake. I’ve also spent some time working in the Pork Industry as a Farrowing Technician where I would primarily care and deliver newborn piglets. I have experience giving topical, oral, and injectable medications and feel confident with animals of all different ages and temperaments! :)
